I am a second year Ph.D. student in Biomedical Engineering. I have always been motivated to improve human health, and I hope to contribute to this greater goal in two ways: by advancing scientific research in the field, and by educating future generations of scientists.
As an educator, I strive to create an engaging environment in which students are encouraged to grow through learning and exploration (in and out of the classroom). Currently, I aspire to teach at an undergraduate-focused institution whose mission is to encourage growth through learning in all aspects of life. Beyond teaching the fundamentals and recent developments in biomedical engineering, I hope to emphasize personal growth and development as well as societal context in my interactions with students.
